The South West Sports Centre offers a range of value for money membership packages. We understand that your exercise goals are as individual as you are and that’s why we tailor the options to suit your needs. Why pay for an option you wont use?

Our facilities are truly world class and until you have experienced them via a tour it’s not fair to compare our facilities with other facilities in the area.

  • Full Membership

    unlimited access to pools, spa/sauna/steam, health club and group fitness classes including exclusive access to our RPM classes. PLUS you'll receive 4 fitness appraisals per year to help keep you motivated.

  • Gym Membership

    access to our state of the art, 600 square metre health club with an extensive range of cardio, resistance and free weight equipment.

  • Group Fitness Membership

    access to all group fitness classes including Les Mills programs, Zumba, Yoga and Aqua-aerobics

  • Aquatics Membership

Provides a relaxing view of the aquatic area. You'll love the wide selection of cardio training equipment, including bikes, treadmills, cross-trainers, steppers, and rowers! In addition, we have a wide range of pin-loaded weight stations and free weights to get your looking and feeling great.

At the South West Sports Centre you will receive the support you need to achieve your personal goals. We offer a range of on-going services to ensure continuous progress.

All new members receive an initial health and fitness appraisal during which time your will discuss your lifestyle goals with one of our qualified instructors. Based on your consultation, the instructor will develop a personalised workout plan for you and show you through the health club equipment to ensure you are comfortable with your program.

Our instructors conduct regular reviews of your program and progress and are available as required to offer you help and advice.

Enjoy working out in the company of others? The South West Sports Centre currently offers a range of group fitness classes including popular Les Mills programs such as Body Pump, Body Step, Body Balance, Body Attack and Body Combat. In addition we offer Zumba, Yoga, Senior’s fitness classes and an RPM spin cycle studio.

BODYPUMP

A 60 minute workout using barbells, strengthening and challenging your entire body. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspiring you to get the results you came for - and fast!

BODYSTEP

An energizing, athletic step class using height adjusting steps that has motivating music & is easy to follow. The ultimate leg and butt workout.

RPM - Members only program

An indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Let our inspiring leader take you over the hills, flats, mountain trails & interval training.

BODYBALANCE

Calling on methods such as Yoga, Tai chi and Pilates. This class will build flexibility, strengthen your muscles, improve your posture & teach you valuable relaxation techniques.

BODYCOMBAT

A great fun, non-contact cardio workout incorporating moves from a range of self defense principles. Strike, kick & punch your way to superior cardio fitness.

BODYATTACK

The sports inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises.

ZUMBA

Using Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves, Zumba features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone your body while burning fat.

YOGA - Ashtanga

Involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures increasing strength, endurance and flexibility while clearing the body of accumulated toxins and emotional blocks.

YOGA – Hatha

A slower-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and seated meditation. Learn basic poses, relaxation techniques and become comfortable with yoga.

PRIME TIME CIRCUIT

A gentle, low impact circuit program utilising pin loaded weight stations and cardio equipment. Work at your own pace and enjoy the social interaction.

ACTIVE MOVES

A gentle, low impact class that includes some aerobic elements, using bands, balls and other equipment to easy listening music

We offer a range personal training programs designed and delivered by our qualified trainers. The South West Sports Centre also specialises in sport specific training and corporate fitness.

Personal training is a great way to fast-track fitness goals and is ideal for those looking for motivation or simply want to individualise their current fitness program. Personal training is available in half hour (members only) or 1 hour sessions with both one-on-one or group training options available.

Teen Memberships are for both boys and girls from 12 to 15 years of age and offer a great variety of classes. Teens are introduced to the safe use of gym equipment through Gym Circuits and also experience Group Fitness & RPM Classes, Recreational and lap swimming. Only $9 per week direct debit. Conditions apply.

Program includes:

  • NO joining fee
  • Pre-exercise questionnaire prior to starting your membership
  • Regular handouts and information relating to nutrition and exercise
  • Unlimited access to 8 "Teen Only" fitness classes per week
  • Unlimited access for pool entry
